Visit First - Beaches

Hello,

Been reading the forum and wanted to get some advice. We are in our 40's and love beaches and are looking for an eventual place to move. We are planning on spending a week Playa Bonita Intercontinental. Is this a good area to see multiple beaches and that is still fairly close (~20 km) from PC?

What are some other close by areas that you would recommend visiting -- in order to get a feel for what local life is like for ex-pat's(other than PC itself)? and is easily accessible via taxi Such as Veracruz or Chorerra?

Not too interested in the mountain areas, or directly in PC itself.
