Move to Panama early 2013

I am a single lady in late 60's wising to relocate to Panama. Due to arthritis condition, I need to be away from humidity as much as possible .Visited P.C. early July and did not accomplish much.
David and Boquette are a long ways from Panama City. How is it around Anton or Sora? Any suggestions within a couple of hrs. of PC? How is transportation. to these places from PC? Also, how does a person find rental property online; or does it have to be done when in Panama? I have just over $1,000 per mo. to live on. Would appreciate someone who is willing to help with questions and give some guidance. thanks, Judi
