Water Filtration

Hello,
Visiting a friend in Boquete soon. She is looking for some type of water filter system to possibly put in-line under the sink to filter out possible parasites, bacteria, etc. She has health issues and wants to make sure water is safe in house she is renting.
If anyone knows where to go to get one and replacement filters, she would be appreciatied.
