Hi all. We visited Panama a few months ago and stayed for only a couple of weeks for vacation, and guess what… we fell in love with it. Obviously the country is beautiful but not only that, we discovered a land of many opportunities. We are a young couple (me early 30's, my wife late 20’s) without any kids yet. We were looking at various destinations to relocate somewhere south, being from Canada, well you know our winters and Panama really impressed us. I will be going back in a few weeks (late Feb), without my wife this time, as she can’t take another vacation, to really see if the potential for us to really move Panama really exists. I would like to look at the real estate market to potentially buy a house, take a look at the laws to maybe start a business and finally see the challenges in raising a family in Panama. I would like to connect with expats that moved to Panama and that would like to share their experience, offer advice or suggestions, maybe even meet while I’ll be there.
