Travel advice sometime June-July

I'm planning a 2 week trip to Panama in the next couple of months. I have some flexibility in times but was considering sometime late june-july to come. My plan is to fly into panama city, take a flight to Bocas Del Toro area, spend several days on the caribbean side and then take a bus to the pacific side and visit the areas surrounding David and then back to panama city.

I know it will be the rainy season on the Pacific side so I'm expecting a bit of rain but can you tell me if there is a time to come around then that will be any better than another. Also, is two weeks enough given the places I want to visit? I was planning to do some scuba diving, rainforest tours, surfing, etc.

Thanks in advance!
