An expat, single, retired lady living in Volcan, Chiriqui Province, Panama, Georgia Tripp was apparently murdered March 14th 2013 and her body found outside her house. Alto al Crimen http://www.altoalcrimen.org/ of Boquete has offered assistance to help find the perpetrators. Not much is known. Her landlord and next door neighbor discovered her body mid day and called the police and notified a friend of Georgia's. She was stabbed in the neck and the knife was found under her body. It is not known if her house was robbed. She was a vital, athletic woman, with many interests and connections to life. She lived alone in a somewhat isolated little cottage, but across the road were neighbors with four or five Doberman dogs who usually barked when anyone, especially anyone unfamiliar, came by. Nothing much is being reported as it is part of an ongoing investigation. We are all deeply saddened by the news of her untimely death. She was a good friend and a wonderful person to know.
