Coming Into Panama

We came from Costa Rica via Air Panama. Before we left Costa Rica we bought an "open bus ticket" from Safe Passage. The ticket gets us into Costa Rica and back into Panama where we live now. Safe Passage changes the date every 3 months ( we drive). From Panama, you can get your exit stamp on your passport. Walk to the Costa Rica side, fill out the paper to show if you brought something into CR. Show your bus ticket, get your passport stamped into CR. Go to the next window, fill out the paper again to show if you bought something in CR and get your passport stamped. Walk back to the panama side, fill out the paper to show if you bought something in CR, get your $1.00 stamp and then get your passport stamped. The mall on the Panama side is very modern and no taxes. Hope this helps. We got all of this taken care of last week in about 45 minutes. We got there early and done by 9:30 AM!
