How about Volcan? (from those actually living there)

I am considering a trip to Volcan in a few months as a possible place to live.

I prefer a cooler spring like climate and have read Volcan is the best place for rural living, climate, good folks etc., I don't need to be parked in the middle of a Boquete Gringo atmosphere,

I have read some good things about Volcan beside lower cost of living, but more important to me is a good quality life.

Need some in sight from THOSE ACTUALLY LIVING THERE. Or any other towns that would be cool, rural & small.
