I'm looking into moving to Costa Rica or Panama in late 2015 and it is starting to get somewhat difficult making a choice. We're from Belgium, my wife being english me being dutch. I've been looking at Costa Rica for some time now-we went ther on a holiday last year- and both liked the southern Pacific area in the mountains and very near the beach. Getting my pension in 2015 but because Netherlands has no reations with C.R. they will deduct about €250,00 off it every month.
Now Netherlands does have relations with Panama making it more interesting for us.
Who can give me lots of information about how things work in Panama, what benefits are we " old gits" elegible for, which part of the country has approximately the same climate and scenery as the part of C.R.I just mentioned, prices cars, health insurance etc etc etc.
