Motorcycle Entry

I plan on riding a motorcycle to Panama. I am getting my cedula. The bike is a 2009 model. I want to get Panama placas and not have to ride it up to the border every 3 months. I know they discount a motorcycle differently than cars. I guess they base the original price of the bike on the price when it was new in Panama. It's a BMW and it was pricey when I bought it (like 20K). Where would I pay the duty on it. I plan on living in Los Santos. I guess I would pay in Las Tablas??? What could I expect the fee to be so I can decide if I want to shell out that much cash or just let it go. My spanish is very good. I can deal with customs on my own. Just need to know where to go and the approximate damage I would have to pay. Thanks, RMS
