Panamanian Citizenship

Years ago I applied for Panamanian citizenship but it never seemed to go anywhere. I completed all the requirements but the president needs to sign it. The previous president left office without signing it and various people told me I would never get it. So I pretty much forgot about it. Just a week ago my lawyer called and said that it was approved. So next month I have to go to Panama City and attend a ceremony. I have to dress up in ropa tipica for the occasion. Pretty amazing. I was very surprised. I'll be able to vote for the new president in the next election.
