This is an update on Neighbors Helping Neighbors. If you have any doubts about how this group can help you (as compared to merely calling police etc, you need to investigate it further, host a meeting or go to one that will be occurring next weekend.
Ask Ty and Michelle how helpful this group was when they needed them. That incident is what started the group and now they will be going live and we will all have those resources available if you become a member.
Hopefully, someone in El Valle can help host an event next week end.

Rodny - the hero of the Boquete HOTLINE is coming to the interior next weekend to train our operators.
He will arrive on Saturday Oct 5th - and spend 2 days touring the Emergency Services (Police, Fire, Ambulance and Tow Trucks) facilities in the Chamé to Anton area - even a trip to El Valle and Alto del Maria
He will introduce our operators to the Emergency Services staff and talk about the HOTLINE - how it works - who will be calling - etc.
On Monday and Tuesday he will run the training classes with our operators.
By Wednesday October 9th - the NHN HOTLINE will be LIVE, with our own operators - trained by the best.
I hope to have some media interviews with Rodny while he is here, so we can get some publicity for the HOTLINE - especially in the Spanish publications.
If you are willing to host a WELCOME event at your home or facility for prospective members to meet Rodny and find out what is happening with the NHN HOTLINE - please let me know ASAP.
(I can bring the sound system - if you can help promote the meeting).

Chamé
Altos del Maria
El Valle
Gorgona or Coronado
San Carlos
Farallon or Rio Hato area
Anton
Also we need the NHN brochure translated into Spanish, to hand out to the fire, police, ambulances and tow trucks - so if you can help with that - please let me know!
