Pensionado Requirements

I am exploring loving in Panama for about 8 months per year. At present my wife and I are in our early 50's and are retired in Florida.

Our income is received from our various investment accounts within the USA. We have more than enough income to meet the requirements to receive the Pensionado, however its not from a govt agency or company.

Is there a way to demonstrate our financial well being in order to receive this benefit or is it not worth the time and effort?
