I bought two maximum -minimum thermometers to keep track of the temperature range. The low this morning was 59 degrees F. The high yesterday was 82 degrees F. Sometimes the range is even narrower with the lows being in the low sixties and the highs in the upper seventies. I keep a second maximum-minimum thermometer in my living room. Our house is unheated and we don't have air-conditioning. The lows are usually 70-72 degrees F and the highs 78-82 degrees. F. Our windows face the direction of the morning sun which makes the house a little warmer than average. Volcan is 1400 meters in elevation (about 4500 feet).
