We are arriving in early Feb and thru the vast amount of information in this forum and various blogs on the web, we are fairly set on Coronado as our base.
A little information about us we are a retired couple ( early 50's) who reside in Ft Lauderdale Florida today . We enjoy the beach life and are active golfers. We are attracted to Coronado because of the beach and the golf options.
We will be staying in Coronado only on this trip and would like to get to know the area and meet others who have made the move.
We plan to spend Oct thru March in Panama starting Oct 2014. I have read that there are various hangouts where XPATS meet each week to mingle etc.
I am interested in speaking with people who are active in Coronado and are willing to share the positives and negatives about their experiences.
I am also interested in playing golf while there as I would like to see the course and learn if there are active mens groups etc.
