Caribbean side vs Pacific

Hey. Like so many, I have lots to glean. Any thoughts, pros and cons, Pacific side vs Caribbean side of Panama? Not looking for any condo type or city living at all. Outskirts of city possibly okay. Like very clean, single home neighborhoods accessible to good medical, shopping and restaurants. Beach within a half hour would be wonderful, but not a deal breaker. I'm over an hour from them now and managed surviving. thank you.
