shipping container sharing to Bocas or Boquete

I am moving to Bocas del Toro, Panama this summer and have room in a 20-foot container from either Seattle or Oakland area. Rather than pay for a 20-foot container, I would like to share a 40-foot container as the cost is only $2000 more than the 20-foot. From Seattle, the current cost for half of the 40-foot container would be $4500. From Oakland half of the 40-foot container would be $4125. These quotes are delivered to the customs in David, so anyone going to Bocas or Boquete might find this a good way to save about $3000 compared to having their own 20-foot container.
