What did you bring with you?

Hi,
We are at the point of sorting through our things...what to bring when we move and what to leave behind (sell, give away, etc...). We want to rent at first, at least for 1 year. My husband wants to bring his tools and I am more of a take just your clothes kind of person! However I am wondering about pots and pans, bed linens and bath towels! Bring them or not? What are your thoughts and experiences?
