My wife and I will be in Panama in October for 19 days--exploring the possibility of retirement. First 3 nights we have booked in PC but nothing afterwards. Wondering if a flight to BDT is practical (haven't seen any flights listed) or how long a bus ride would take? Also, is it best to book our stay a head of time off the internet or better to look locally once we arrive? Interested in Boquete, Coronado, St. Clara, and El Valle as well. Is it practical to book a tour through the canal and ride the train back? I understand the area of Colon near the train station is a bit dangerous.
