simple bed frames available in Panama?

We moved here recently (outside of David...la barqueta) and I am trying to find inexpensive bed frames/bases with no success. Any insight? The only thing I have found are simple bases to put mattresses on (at the furniture store that sells Ashliey, next to Reys in David, I believe). They were $300 each and it was a simple platform for the mattress to lay on. In the states, you can get metal bed frames for about $30. I am going to be making upholstered headboards, so I am looking for something that doesn't show... just holds the mattress up off the ground. Thanks for any help!
