Would an ex-pat have much of a chance in getting a job of any kind there? My son has certification in Computer Aided Drafting/Design, but I'm not sure if it would help being an expat in a foreign country. I imagine he could start his own business on the internet and work for people all over the country, and hopefully nix the requirement of a Panama work permit.
