I'll be coming down there to live for 6-12 months. I'm an avid cook and and was wondering what the availability of various ethnic staples would be if any? I plan on spending some time in PC, Coronado area, and David/Boca Chica.
I'm aware of the large Asian population there and I assume that there are some Asian markets in the bigger cities? Looking such items as Sesame Oil, Soy Sauce, Seaweed for sushi, Wakame, Miso, Korean pepper paste? Anyone know of the availability of this stuff, or should I bring it? I'm just looking to lighten the load for traveling.
I assume Parmesan and Mozzarella is available in the regular grocery stores too... And Mexican products?
