I truly felt this forum had reached a low point with the immature bickering going on. Now I realize I was wrong. When someone feels its appropriate to call someone not just a name, but an obscenity, there is something very wrong and it should not be tolerated.
Obviously many of us have agreed to disagree, on locations, favorite places, even level of safety for expats. But when I see someone use a nasty derogatory term to describe someone, I see a bully who has no other form of intellectual expression.
Please refrain from swearing at women, James. You would never had said that to a man. It's misogynistic and a way to intimidate a woman to stop speaking her mind. We are all entitled to our opinions, but if we feel the need to be nasty, do so privately with a friend, not in public. Despite your best efforts at bullying anyone into submission it will not happen. If anything us b~s will remain active and stand up for ourselves. As a woman who volunteered at a domestic violence shelter I can tell you words are just as much a form of abuse as your fists. And I can't stand by and watch abuse without making it clear it is not ok under any circumstances. So as I said before, in case you did not see it, ENOUGH. You and Mary Ann don't agree, now let it go. This forum is not the appropriate place for the rest of us to have to deal with something private between the two of you. Thank you.
