Internet speeds in Panama

I'd like to know what internet speeds you people are getting at your respective locations. I'm in the process of switching ISP and phone providers and I decided that it is time to switch to voip for my phone, and something I can bring with me to Panama. I've narrowed it down to Ooma and Magicjack. I've seen that mj is very popular there but I've also read that mj requires a lot of bandwidth, a faster internet speed, and more so than Ooma. While searching past threads I also saw some people complaining about the slow speeds and that they could not use mj in some locations. So, I would like to know the speeds you are getting at your respective locations, and whether it is in town/city or rural? If you don't know your speed you can get it from either of these two websites:

speakeasy.net/speedtest
speedtest.net

Each will give you both download and uploads speeds.

I bought MagicjackGo today and I will be trying it tonight on my relatively slow 2.8 Mbps service so I'll soon know how it does at that speed. I have 14 days to decide. Thanks.
