I must give Panamama credit for this one. She told me about Iris, who makes the most amazing Pupusas (a Salvadorian dish you must try, get them 'con queso'). Her "Comida" of the day includes a protein, a side and a salad. It is a very large plate of food and it's $3.25 per person. Drinks run under $1 for a coke or juice. The name of the restaurant is "La Pasaita" and it's located on the North side of the street, approximately one mile(west) past Riba Smith. It is a small local restaurant but please, do not that let that stop you, the food is excellent, the owner is fabulous and it's amazingly reasonable. Not just for Coronado, but for Panama in terms of price. The owner is leaving for El Salvador this weekend and won't be back for about a month, but her cooks will still be there and the restaurant will still be open.
