swimming pool in Chitre

To nokomisgina....yes there is a very nice Olympic size swimming pool in Chitre. It is public and I have been there a number of times watching my friend take swimming lessons. I don't know what the cost (if any) for daily use or membership is, but I'm sure it is minimal. There is also a smaller pool at the golf course here in town but is restricted to members...I believe the cost is 1000 dollars for a five year membership. You can also swim in the ocean at Playa Rompio about 20 minutes from downtown, but the water is not all that clean. If you have any other questions about living here I will be happy to help you.
