What is a "pension" for purposes of obtaining "pensionado" status.

I am a trust beneficiary who receives quarterly, not monthly, distributions which vary somewhat but always are much, much more than $1,000 per month / $3,000 per quarter / $12,000 per year.

Actually my trust income should comfortably exceed $50,000.

Is this a "pension"?

Also, I have a more than 20 year old reckless driving misdemeanor conviction. Problem?
