Visiting in July

We are considering retiring in Panama and we are visiting in late July. We have flight arrangements already but need suggestions on hotels in PC.

We would like to visit the city for a few days then visit a few other areas like Bocas and Bouette.

Is there someone we can meet and talk to within the expat community while we are there?
