Finally going to visit Panama

I will be in Bocas del Toro for 3 days & Boquete for 2 nights/1 full day in May. I am interested in seeing as much as possible and meeting the people who live there. I am a 62 year old female looking for a future home. I want to get the most out of my short time there. (actually 13 day trip, but some in Puerto Viejo, CR and Santa Catalina, Panama before heading home. Suggestions, please? Panamajames: you have been very helpful in the past! Thank you.
