Goods Shipped to Panama

One poster wrote that, once there, "be prepared to spend thousands more" getting one's
goods. I have a small business I wanted to do there upon relocation. It would in no way
compete with any Panamanian. Having all components and materials held to ransom
more cash would make Panama untenable. Has anyone had experience with this? I'm not
taalking about more than half an Int'l shipping container and I already have a quote to Bouquete
from the iternational mover in FL, who assure "door to door" service.
