Teaching Requirements for Panama

Hello,

I'm trying to get an idea of what most Panamanian school employers look for in an potential employee. Is it like here in the United States where you must at least have a Bachelor's Degree + Teaching Licensure? I am looking to teach English in a school (public/private/lessons/whatever). Not necessarily in Panama City. I'm thinking of Penonomé. I currently have my Associate's Degree and a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certification and am wondering if that will be sufficient to help me get a job there and earn some extra income.
