just a note fyi, my husband is a mechanic, so we mostly do our own repairs, one reason being, so it will be done to a reasonable standard. Like for example my husband has found when he gets the bolts tighten to change a tire the mechanics just guess instead of using a gauge, etc., Anyway, my post is about buying parts. several times now my husband has bought parts from a reputable dealer, the saleman swears up and down it is an original part, not made in china. My husband will re ask the questions several times, to make sure he hears correctly. Then takes the part home, only to find he was lied to, after closer examination. And why is this important? Because if you buy these parts that are made in china, even if you think you did not buy a part made in china, high chance the car part will malfunction shortly, and you are back to square one!!, cheers!!!
