My wife & I, both 64, are planning to move to Panama in 2 - 3 years. We have heard many positive things about the Boquete area and that is our primary focus.
I would like to hear from other ex-pats why they chose Panama as opposed to other LA countries and also why they love Panama. I have been hearing about some of the negative aspects, such as crime, but would like to hear about the positive aspects, especially regarding the Boquete area.
We are both retired from the hi-tech world and are both musicians and singers. My wife is also a Tribal Belly Dance teacher. We like to be active in our community and have done much volunteer work with animals.
