Any tips on drive from US to Panama?

hey again,

any driving or border crossing trips from anyone that has made the drive?

It will be a camp trailer and mini van.

Are there any limitations on property? I see Mexico has something like 50.00 a person and the om what I read didn't like computers crossing.

Can anyone explain the real info or perhaps point me to real guidelines for the right do's and dont's?
