I read a lot of the answers given to "is it possible". I am 64 and will be alone with to little dogs; however I will have about $2000 to live on and would not want to do repairs. I don't need much, one bedroom, kitchen and a working bathroom. I want to be around expats since I have no skills in foreign languages. I will be there for the experience as I may decide to move on in a few years. I want to be safe but I also want the local cultural experience.
