I have been lurking on this forum for months, and felt it was time to introduce myself. I will be spending some time in Panama in 2016, looking for a place to settle. In the meantime, I am selling everything and getting ready.
I am the trailbreaker for a few of my family members...the plan is for me to get settled, and they will have a place to start.
A little about me: I am a dual citizen, American/Australian. I spent 10 years in Aus, and I love it there. I moved to Australia with 2 suitcases, never having set foot in the country, to be with my husband. I am now a widow and have spent the last year in the U.S. I moved back because my Mum was ill, and now she's gone and I'm
ready to move on.
I am giving myself a year to sort things out here, and will be driving my Airstream to Panama at the end of this year. I want to spend some time in different areas, to decide where I want to settle. I'll be bringing my accommodation with me, so I'm not worried about that.
I will be looking for a plot of land to buy, and when I make the final move I will be bringing my pets, 1 dog and 2 cats. They came with me from Australia, so I have no worries about their trip to Panama.
I will be posting questions every now and then, and I wanted to put my story out there.
