Hi, my fiancé and I will be moving to Panama in November. Our plan is to spend a month or two in various locations of interest before settling on a location for long term rental.
Our budget for a furnished rental is under $500/ month and the areas we are interested in are Las Tablas, Chitre, Pedasi, Bocas Del Toro, Boquete, Volcan, and Puerto Armuelles.
We don't require much aside from being furnished, having Internet, and under 30 min to a hospital, beach, and grocery store.
We were going to wait until we arrived in Panama to look for a rental and stay in hostels until we located our first rental but I realize it is high season and doing a little networking before hand would not hurt.
