David Water Problem

From about 9:00 pm on Friday, November 6, various sectors of the village of David, head of the district of the same name, in Chiriqui, are without water service.
At least 60,000 people have been affected by the system failure.
The director of the Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN) , in Chiriqui, Youbert De Puy, said the lack of water is due to blockages in the water intakes of the water treatment that is located in Dolega.
This, he explained, has led to decreased production.
He added that currently crews officials of this area are located in the affected places, trying to remove all kinds of debris that block the pipes, elements that clogged the system after heavy downpours in the area on Friday.
