Greetings.
A friend of mine from Norway is moving here to Panama next February.
Apparently, he's put together some savings (about 50 grand), and he's interested in investing his savings in some kind of business venture, and would like to know what his options are.
He says that his first choice is Real Estate.
(Now, you're probably thinking : there is no "Norwegian friend". This posting is about ME, trying to seek advice anonymously)
Hahaha. Wouldn't blame you for thinking that way, but it isn't about me. No way Jose! I've only been here a couple of weeks, and even I know that investing one's savings in Panama is risky, at best, and downright careless usually.
Which is exactly what I told my friend last night when we chatted on Skype. I even gave him several online links, elaborating the reasons why investment in Panama should be approached with GREAT caution!
Especially real estate.
Still..........there does seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel...........as long as you are not afraid of the long, dark tunnel itself.
My question being : would YOU invest in Panama Real Estate? Especially if reside here in the city?
I know I wouldn't.
But, there seem to be quite a few people who would. I'm only curious
