Bank deposit taking too long?

How long does it take for a deposit made into one's account, to show up??

My missus deposited some money into our new account at Banco general, last week Thursday. We logged into the online platform today, and still no sign of the deposit.

Really, does it take more than 3 days (not counting weekend, of course) ?
