My husband and I currently on SS disability. We live in Texas pay $900 plus utilities. We are about to have an income of only $1500 per month. We don't want to buy a lot or any property. We are just looking to find a less stressful place to retire. What is a realistic cost of living there? I have read many articles about living great for $1500 or less and others say no way. How about crime? We like the beach and we are pretty low key we just want to get away from the busy city and de-stress. Boquete looks pretty.
