Shipping the Minimum from Arizona

We are moving to Boquete in July and plan to leave the majority of our household behind. However, we do need to ship a lot of our daughters belongings/toys, bedding, picture frames, extra clothes, shoes, and computer equipment (for work). The basics as far as I'm concerned. I've read a lot of opinions that are very extreme from huge shipping containers that cost 8k+ for huge cargo containers to 'leave your whole life behind and start over." I haven't read any happy mediums and how people accomplished it. Can anyone provide any insight as to how they accomplished something similar to our situation or what you would recommend is the most cost efficient? Thank you.
