My husband and I are just beginning our research on moving to Panama. We will be visiting often and narrowing down an area but right now are looking at the Azuero peninsula or Boquete.
I will only be 40 when we get there (in 3 years) and hope to work. I am considering opening my own small business to provide a service that these areas may be lacking in.
My question is, what types of ex-pat businesses do well there? I am fairly adaptable to new places and things so I am open to all suggestions. I have 3 years in the states to become an expert! I have a degree in Engineering, one in Ecology and Natural Resources and currently work at a bank. I love cooking, running and most things outdoors but I am not opposed to going back to school or getting certified in something specific that I could do indoors.
What do you guys miss that I could provide? :-)
Any and all (appropriate) suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for helping me brainstorm!
