Chronic Illnesses Healthcare

(So glad to have found this today.) I have type 1 diabetes, fibromyalgia, and several other illnesses. I am looking at relocating to Panama as they have the Johns Hopkins affiliate hospital. Two questions: 1. Does anyone have any experience with the endocrinologist down there, and/or have juvenile diabetes? 2. What communities are nearby that I ought to begin looking at? I would like a house rather than an apartment, and I would prefer not to be the only expat living there. Thank you all in advance.
