Looking to retire :)

Greetings to all..

My wife and I want to visit Panama very soon in order to see if it would work for us as a place to retire. We are interested in being near the ocean so we started looking at some places to live in Coronado.

We have already established the we meet and exceed the $1000.00 per month visa requirements.

Now for some questions.

Recommendations for a hotel to stay at while we are looking around?

Can foreigners own homes and land there or just a condo?

What would be considered a reasonable price for a two bedroom condo or a 3 bedroom home with A/C?

What is the cost of living in Panama and what would a reasonable monthly budget be?

Medical Coverage. Both of use would use Tri-Care and I also have VA Care for life as I am rated 100 percent disabled. How would medical coverage work?

In regards to the weather. What are the cooler months, the hotter months and I guess the rainy months?

Thank you for taking the time to respond :)
