Advice for my fact-finding mission, please:)

Sooo, I'm planning a 3-4 week fact-finding/dental work mission to Panama in June/July 2016- yes, soon!! I'm a single female certified math/science teacher fed up with the rat race and red tape in the US. Hoping to find a slower pace of life... not yet retirement age, so need to work at something- teaching would be fine (nanny? tutor? book-keeper? assistant anything???), but anything that pays the bills would do. I live simply and plan to continue that trend. I speak enough Spanish to get by- lived in Bolivia for two years as a child and spoke fluently then- it'll come back to me:) I've done some research, but would really appreciate advice/assistance with finding an oral surgeon (need a single implant) and with the whole "where do I start, where do I stay, how do I begin looking for a teaching (or other job) thing"!!! I'm not skittish or shy- at the same time, I don't want to do anything stupid... well, at least nothing irreversible or incurable!! My ultimate goal is a permanent move (near a beach, please:), work 3 or 4 more years, then retire and live off my modest pension and what's left of social security. The responses to other posts have been very informative... they've demonstrated to me how much help I need!! I won't say "thanks in advance" because I reeeeally hate it when people say that, but, um... thanks:)
