My husband and I raised our family in L.A. He worked in the animation business. We moved to Las Vegas several years ago and after losing our home to a homeowner's association, we've been renting, but have no life. Our son and his wife moved to Bocas del Toro four years ago and are very happy there. They are expecting a baby soon and we are contemplating a move to Boquete. We visited there a few years ago and it was lovely. Nice people, and lots to see and do.
I'm hoping we can find a two bedroom rental for around $1,000 per month, which would give us money to travel and hopefully join some activities. Roy used to be involved in Best Buddies. Since he left his last job (part time teaching) he feels lost. We don't gamble and there is very little to do in Las Vegas. We have lived in Paris, Germany, So Korea and Singapore in the past, and adjusted well. I'm hoping we can start a new life in Boquete, plus being able to watch our new granddaughter grow up! Any advice?
