Bus Transportation

we live in Coronado and travel often to Panama City by bus. It's very easy to catch a "big bus" from Coronado to Panama. Unfortunately, that's not the case the opposite direction. We tried to buy a ticket form the "Santiago" counter to ride a "big bus" but they won't let us do that. Is there any advise, what to do, to get a big bus from PC to Coronado?
