Hoping i can get some advice here. My wife and I are in our 40's but considering purchasing a vacation and eventual retirement property in Panama. In fact, we are even considering leaving Canada in the next couple of years - we both have good corporate jobs, but we're tiring of all the baggage that comes with that, and are thinking of simplifying our lives.
I know someone who has a large condo in Panama City, but we are more interested in the mountains - a modest but comfortable house with lots of greenery, a small pool perhaps, a couple of bedrooms - nothing over the top but comfortable.
Can someone offer general price ranges for that kind of property, and links to websites that features listings?
i just discovered this website, so i'll explore more here, but if there are other helpful hints or areas/communities in Panama with Canadian/US expats pls do share links. TRying to get as educated as i can, then come for a visit in the next 6 months, and then go from there.
