I have been doing a lot of reading on this forum over the last few months as I would like to explore the possibility of relocating to Panama, for various reasons. Although I have not visited the country yet (I plan to in October), I would like to get additional information before I land.
I have been an entrepreneur most of my life. I have owned a quick lube/oil change facility, as well as a countertop and bathroom resurfacing business.
I would like to know if in Panama, there are a lot of quick lubes present already? If available, I would look into purchasing an existing quick lube with Pits. Could anyone tell me if the market for these facilities exist?
As well, I do specialized resurfacing/spraying of countertops, ceramic tiles, shower stalls, etc. I was wondering if anyone is aware if there is a market for this type of service, or if anyone on this website owns a kitchen and bathroom renovation business, and would like to add this type of service to their portfolio?
Thanks for the information. I believe I would need to obtain a visa that allows me to own my own corporation, as my options are limited (I am not at retirement age).
Also, I am interested in settling down in an area with a diverse culture, also with a larger concentration of english speaking expats. Am I correct in assuming David an Boquete should be the area I consider the most?
